He's still getting it situated. The multi-touch is kinda fancy, but I *hope hope hope* they open up the API and don't cock it up. It's *not* ready for primetime. Right now you cannot even turn it off. The configurability is exactly equivalent to the non-multitouch (tap to click? y/n drag to scroll? y/n), but there are no options at all related to e.g. three-finger-swipe. It's brand new and isn't even shiny yet, but I hope they do the right thing. A followup on your theme...
