This is where I use this plugin - in case you are interested in seeing that...

Oh yes and I would also love to be able to control the date and time myself. I would like to change it to a 24-hour clock and Danish languate using these formats j. F Y and H:i. I would like if I had the option of not showing the end time

I would like it to space the events automatically.

And last but not least I have a problem. When reopening an event it has added the html-codes , and (I am using visual mode) and the event looks funny and takes up a lot of place because of the breaks added.

Other than that I think it is a great plugin!

I would love if it had a template function. I am using it for a tour calender and a lot of fields are the same every time. It would be nice if I could save a template and just fill in the new information.

I recently developed a WP site locally on my machine running v 2.5 of WP. I just made the site live today using v 2.6 and I'm not able to see the WPListCal link under Settings on my live server running v 2.6. I need to be able to get in so I can adjust the Display mode so that it is formatted correctly.

Do you have any suggestions on why this may not be displaying.

Thanks

Hello! I have a quick question about formatting the date...

I am trying to get around an event displaying the date twice when the event takes place within a single day.

For example: "August 24 8:00pm - August 24 10:00pm"

But since the strings of "%START%" "%END%" represent the full start or end date & time (and one can only define the date format (e.g, 'M j, Y g:ia') once... I'm not sure how to proceed.

Perhaps I'm missing something simple.
Any advice?

Thanks for all the great work!

I'm using WPListCal v1.0.6 with WordPress v2.6. The visual editor is not working, and there is a JavaScript error in editor.js (line 4):

document.getElementById("editorcontainer") has no properties

Other than that, great plugin.

Dear Jonathan,

your plug-in is great, the custom formatting really makes it stand out imo. I noticed however that the media uploader of Wordpress 2.6 isn't working with wplistcal. I have quite a few images to go with my events, so now I'm uploading them via the write > post and then I copy the image link to the event I want it in. However, as you can imagine, this is kind of a hassle, are you planning on fixing this in a future update?

Regards,

Mattijs

Love your plug in. The only thing that I wish it had was the ability to enter repeating events once. i.e. a weekly event gets generated every seven days for x months. That seems like one of those deceptively tricky ideas to implement though, so I can understand why its not there. Or I'm just in way too much of a rut. Thanks again...

Thanks Jonathan,

One more things; is there any way I can unbullet the events.

Mike: Try deactivating and then reactivating the plugin. As long as you have 1.0.6 files uploaded, doing so will not harm your data.

Lazarboy: Ya, a lot of people want that feature. Coming in 1.1. What do you mean about many links? If you want many links for 1 event, just use the description field.

Wick: Not a clue...it is all dependent on my free time. As you can see from my about page, I work at Microsoft, so sometimes I get really busy. However, I do have a branch on subversion specifically for 1.1 development, so even though I release other versions, I'm also doing bits of work on 1.1 now and then.

Erika: Yes...I just updated this blog to 2.6 and WPListCal seems to work fine.

windrag: good to know, thanks.

An update about my earlier comment about incompatibility with the e-commerce plugin: when I used the html comment method (<!--wplistcal-->) then my table of events would disappear, because the shopping cart does something to the headers that makes that method not work. I got it working by using the php in a page template to generate the schedule. Hope this helps somebody.
